Delle Venezie Pinot Grigio

Clean, simple. A little minty, a little bland.

Pale straw. Medium intensity of lemon, lime, and a hint peach. Light body, medium plus mouthwatering acid, medium alcohol 12.5 abv. A touch of bitterness is quickly enveloped by a refreshing zest of citrus and a lingering perfume of white flowers.

Lime zest apricot, easy drinking as apertif or w shellfish

Clean, crisp, precise.

Alcohol was higher than I would usually expect from Pinot Grigio. I think it's a mislabel with the 12.5%. Seemed more like a 13.5 and closer to 14. Classic notes of lemon zest and crushed rock minerality.

Hey lovely Pinot Gris, with great balance of fruit and acid. A lovely food wine. Very enjoyable wine.

Full and generous flavor and texture buttressed by a spine of acidity.
