Medium bodied and nice mineral finish

Ooooh the funky mushroom note. This is not your grand papa's SB.

Like drinking acidified water. Not enough fruit. Or flavor.

Now convinced I must visit Friuli on next trip to Italy. Long a fan of tocai this sauv blanc defies everything one could hate about sauv, plays up what's great, and injects the florals and body characteristic of the region. A winner.

Good, no so dry, no over flavoured, neutral wine ideal choice for an easy drink or aperitivo!
