An amazing “mock” field blend. Perfect texture to complement a 45 day dry-aged NY steak. Very juicy without being syrupy. High-toned aromatics of violets. Medium plus body, and maybe a bit more on the finish. Fruit character is definitely in the blue court. Spice, but no pepper. Kind of what you’d expect from Paso. (in a good way).

Amazing and one of the best wines I’ve ever had. Unreal right out the shoot with edgy spice and currant. Had a hard time decanting but 3.5 hours later and it’s still banging away! Dark plums tobacco blackberry ... after 6 hours all of its spice was gone and turned into dark cherries. SOFA KING GOOD.

Wonderful blend dominated by Mourvèdre. Aromas of stewed plums, caramel and smoke. Gobs of black cherry, dried herbs and baking spices. The chalky tannins have subsided slightly from the last bottle I had 18 months ago, but they are still mouth-gripping.
