Perfect prime rib wine. Alrqdy developing some nuance beyond the dark blackberry core and vanilla that are so characteristic of this wine. Starting to become very Rhone like (chapoutier or guigal in the sense that it is definitely modern in style and abundant with sweet oak)... merry Christmas

Spectacular. Dark fruits nose and palate, acid is mild but balanced. Cellar 8-10 yrs then take another run at a bottle. Suspect this one can go 15-20 easy. Well done Justin Smith.
