#wawinemonth Second wine in honor of Washington Wine Month we had this past weekend. Wine was a dark ruby red. Nose was covered in dark fruits like cassis and dark cherries. Earthy undertones with some light wet rock. On the palate there was cassis, black cherries, raspberries on day one. We tried again on day two and it opened up a ton more with vanilla, and dark baking spices for undertones. Moderate tannins (6/10), moderate body and a little heat in the moderate plus finish. Short note on this one but would wait another year or two before opening. Drink till 2020.
