Actually this Merlot was not bad considering price. Honestly I bought it for the name and label, and well to try some thing different, but ended up enjoying it for its taste. A bit dry, but the noticeable hint of chocolate and cherry was quite nice.

Jammy fruit. Definitely has a spice note. Not bad at all. Pair it well and it tastes decent. I am just nostalgic for a surfer and rock band wine. Paired with bulgogi beef ribs and fried pork belly rice. Was fun

Best of the Save Me, San Francisco Wine Co. line. The price point is low for such a terrific wine. Jammie.

Bought this one for the label and slogan. Had it with steak bowl from chipotle and pizza (don't judge me). Overall I enjoyed the flavors although it was a little dry. For the price it was a fun purchase as I didn't have high expectations. The chocolate flavor does come through

This is a very good tasting wine. I'm not usually picking a Merlot but this is surprisingly light for a Merlot. I'm running back to the store to get more while still on sale! Drank it with a friend and no headache the next day, like some do. Worth a try for newbies!

Kinda loving this Merlot even though I have it stuck in my head from Sideways that I should reject it. Juicy and smooth and rich. Would definitely buy again.

This is a wine that punches well above it's weight! It might be my go to merlot, especially for under $10. It's juicy and complex, bringing notes of cherry cola, cedar, toasted coconut, and a hint of cocoa. I swear there is some ripe plum and blackberry so maybe it is blended with some cab or stray. I was surprised to see some brick color on the rim, since it is a 2014 vintage. I think this drinks more like a $25 wine. Hella fine wine, indeed!
