Note this winery makes two different Gewürtztraminers (GTs), one called GT Orange with extended skin contact, the other just GT. This time I’m drinking the regular one.

Yellow-white in color, excellent clarity. Light spice note in nose. Tart, lemon litchi flavors, slight chalky skin astringency. Mellows with aeration. Piney floral aromas emerge. Acidity resolves. Relatively neutral, slightly spicy flavor predominates. It’s Gewürtztraminer, at heart...

Not particularly aromatic but the skin contact gives this easy drinking wine some structure. Great wine for being at a lake.

Tried the "orange" gewurtztraminer. VERY floral on the nose. Notes of jasmine, freesia, gardenia.
