Mar 13th, 2026Ok, first off this is the Gewürtztraminer Orange, or an orange wine version with lots of skin contact in the making. Second, it’s on the old side with lots of sediment on the bottom. That said, let’s dance: brownish orange hue, very good clarity but with sediment (yeast, lees, funk we should not dwell on as we partake). Some floral and spice notes in nose, faintly. Dry, lots of skin tannins albeit mellowed, spice, GT fruit and good acidity in mouth. Probably past its peak but still drinkable. Room temp preferred. Hope the winemaker keeps making this one. Also pairs well with a revisit to the original 1998 anime version of Cowboy Bebop.

Yellow-white in color, excellent clarity. Light spice note in nose. Tart, lemon litchi flavors, slight chalky skin astringency. Mellows with aeration. Piney floral aromas emerge. Acidity resolves. Relatively neutral, slightly spicy flavor predominates. It’s Gewürtztraminer, at heart...

Took 3 days decanting to fully open up. Dig orange wines though so it was cool.

Despite the Label, this is a delicious wine. Orange candy, cheery, bright acid.

Excellent unique. Orange. Really special. Slightly bitter but I love it. So herbaceous and tropical at the same time. So much fun.

Not particularly aromatic but the skin contact gives this easy drinking wine some structure. Great wine for being at a lake.

Tried the "orange" gewurtztraminer. VERY floral on the nose. Notes of jasmine, freesia, gardenia.
