Here it is Wednesday into the third or fourth week of "Stay Home" seclusion. I have opened the 2014 Saarloos & Sons Sauvignon Blanc X El Camino Real Vineyard. On the front label Keith Saarloos likes to write his pros that is very hard to read and this is what it says; "To My Daughter -
I never expected how fast it would happen.
I get to watch you grow, make mistakes, celebrate victory and forge your life.

On the nose there is pineapple, honeydew melon, lime, papaya, dry herbs and a flinty minerality.
On the palate there is lime-lemon, melon, white peach, celery, wet concrete and a good minerality.
This wine is light to medium body with a clean refreshing mouthfeel and give a medium to medium + acidity that follows into a medium long clean citrus finish. Please stay safe and healthy in the coming weeks and let's pray that we start coming out of this seclusion sooner than later. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂
