Would never have known this was predominantly Syrah and Grenache - seems the minority grapes dominate. Just turning the corner on youth - this is a very supple wine, more delicate than the other Sanguis's we've been lucky to try.

For being a 72% based Syrah blend with 21% Grenache, I was suprised at how much the 3% Cabernet Franc jumped out. Gorgeous long tanins, full bodied and very well balanced. The 2% Viognier and 2% Roussane in the blend is a well thought out finished touch. Paired it with Veal Osso buco with Safron risotto. Yum!
