Sandbanks Ontario VQA Baco Noir

Notes of sweet cherry and tart rhubarb. Great when added to gravy, stew, or an au jus, but too sweet for me to drink.

Not sure I like the finish.

Lovely!!!

Medium finish, tastes like blackberries and strawberry jam. Very drinkable. Notes of cedar and oak.

A little sweet and syrupy.

Great balanced wine.

Thick and purple. Yes this is a wine description. Back noirs just don't work, this ends up typical of a Canadian version. Too much cherry, a bit too syrupy. Not terrible, just not balanced or more-ish
