The Wine was the 1996. Light to medium red color, very little nose, but a beguiling complex medium body with a long aftertaste. We had tasted it at the winery many years ago & thought it was very good. However, this is one of the most complex wines that we have had in years, yet we taste wines that cost well over 10 X the cost. Well worth whatever we paid at the winery. It still has several years in a cool cellar.
