Starting to show its age. I think it will continue to get better. Fruit flavors are stewed/raisinated if you’re into that. I think it’s a good buy for ~$20. Tasted blind.

Strong and chewy but good. “Ideal for roasts, braised meat, and game.”

2008. Smokey at first but mellows into nice dark fruit flavors.

Good but not great Amarone. Doesn’t have the depth of flavor of most Amar ones, but very drinkable. The 2012’s are better. But I would drink it again.

Presents with smoke and tannic nose when opened, then progresses to more earthy, barnyard nose after decanting. Fruit begins to emerge on the palate after 30 minutes open... still tight and somewhat tannic. After an hour open, the dried fruit, raisin, tobacco is apparent. This wine is young. I will try another in 2-3 years.
Enjoyed with fall mushroom risotto with shaved black truffle.

Beautiful aromas of chocolate. Cranberries and raspberries on the pallet highlighted with some earthy organic notes in the background. Silky texture. Luscious. Great vino! Thank you John P.
