2015 is showing great finesse and purity, rendered in an airy and lifted style. Very limpid, ruby to garnet color with a feeling of weightlessness in the glass. The nose is very generous, showing sour cherry and crushed strawberries with hints of rhubarb, cinnamon, rose petal and tobacco. The mid palate shows increasing density with air, leaving somewhat resinous impressions of minerals, licorice and mint. Piercing acidity, moderately firm tannic grip and slightly grainy on the finish. Lovely, precise and balanced.

This was showing well for me. Very easy going and balanced Rosso. Not super complex but it didn't need to be.

Wine is drinking great now and can definitely benefit from a few years of aging. Lots of fresh fruit aromas, and acidity and structure to pair great with Italian food.

Аромат ягодный, приятный, с небольшой добавкой пряностей, вкус сбалансированный, ягодно-пряный. 15.5/20 (86/100)

2022 vintage. One of the best Rosso Di Montalcino wines I’ve had since our romp through Montalcino enroute to Sorrento in the summer of 2017. Excellent Sangiovese, pleasant floral aromas of black cherry on the nose, vibrant ruby red colors on the initial pour, soft tannins and a delicately structured taste with a light finish; not as harsh as a Brunello, this vintage is perfect. Continued to open up after the first hour, this paired extremely well with a spicy pasta and meatballs dish. Would enjoy again.
