A little shy on the nose at first but evolves beautifully in to earthy aromas, dark fruits and roasting aromas such as smoky and tobacco. Let it rest for a little while and you will get the signature vegetable, peppery smell from Chilean wine but not to the point of ruining your experience. Very gentle on the mouth; nice balance of alcohol, acidity and tannins (which are silky smooth). Very good wine, probably at its peak or taking the downhill slope. I really enjoyed it. Its a great value for the money.
