Superiore Dolcetto di Dogliani

Perfect age on this bottle which delivers pure pleasure. Bruised rose petal, orange rind, plum perfume, and then the palate is sweet, tart and silky with mineral complexity and just a hint of va; still just delicately tannic.

For me the best Dogliani producer . Some oxidative notes , dark fruits but lovely balance . ,a lot of tannins structure . A beautiful wine

Perhaps the finest dolcetto we’ve had—powerful at 10 years of age, tannins just beginning to soften, very rich fruit—plum-prune accord laced with tar & camphor with attractive bitterness. Fabulous.

Had the 2007 vintage. Still very young but amazing wine! Could hold for another 8-10 years. Just the right amount of rustic, dark cherry, and great tannin. This is an extremely generous wine, lots of little nuances within. An over looked Dolcetto when others lack an expression of terroir.

So beautiful. At first, it seemed hard to dissect. But we drank with Chinese takeout, of all things, and Oh my God wow-ness ensued.
