"Il Provinciale" Langhe Nebbiolo

Alcoholic cherry butterfly bush smell, hibiscus, taste has a huge front kick of condensed syrupy flavor but not feel as chalk, tannins and acids kick it out, leaving it wet and chalky with a curious and interesting pungent clay that makes this quite drinkable given the strength, hotness and complexity, the ending is a swirling mouthwatering acid that just doesn’t want to go away but it’s fresh and has a tingle and is pleasant (not astringent) - like picture an acidic grape tendril

Smooth, soft and delightful tannins, classic.

Too young

Once it opened up it really came to life. Herbs and flowers with some slight strawberry.

Very tannic and needs time to open up. Once opened its fruity and easy drinking

Very leathery and earthy. Steve was not a fan

Stuff your mouth with a handful of ripe strawberries, dried cranberry, Panda cherry licorice, a hibiscus tea bag and a slice of spice cake and you have this Italian knockout. Delicious and juicy, with food but scarily easy without.

Focused, balanced with a beautiful amount of acidity. ❤️
