Melville Vineyard Syrah

Blue black fruit, pepper, meat and a texture that feels like heavy cream

Spot on SBC cool climate syrah. Comes across as slightly candied, which is odd, given the rest of the profile. I'd guess it wants more time.

One if the better syrahs I've had this year, anywhere. Chad is really doing a great job

Exciting stuff coming out of the central coast

Samsara OM Syrah - a non typical Syrah - softer on the palate and a nice long finish.

Pitch black coco and blueberry. Fine structure of tannins. This has 10 more in the tank. Chad thumbs up!

Medium study and round with nice tannins. Dark fruit and some pepper on the finish. Very nice with beef.

Smokey-grilled venison, bruised green pepper, a bit of stems. Interesting contrast of reserved character and brut syrah character. As a Melville Donna's fan, this is great fun. Donnas is the salt, this is the pepper : )
