Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Good.

This was just okay. A little flat and dense and an hour or two didn't open it up. Maybe it was good ten years ago.

v14. Very nice. Soft, dusty, vanilla nose. Rich, dark blackberry fruit. Pleasant, slightly chalky, chocolate and black pepper finish.

Vanilla notes, easy on the palate

This is a good Napa Cab… Possible better than your run of the mill kind.

A nice cab with a bit of cherry finish.

Black currant + green peppercorn + maybe graphite?

Red fruit in the nose with prominent maraschino cherries in the palate. Needed some time decanting, but went well with a grilled NY strip. Also was nice with a cheese/sausage charcuterie board.

Allegedly sourced from Dr Crane vineyard. This was quite nice but lacked balanced. A touch acidic with tannins that need a bit more time.

V13. Pretty solid wine. Well balanced, and very good food wine. Cedar nose. Juicy Blackberry, plum and currant fruit. Dry, soft leather, with a slight green finish.
