Massive on the palate, lots of tart but jammy fruit; oaky tannins that are still really firm. Sweet and sour. Dust and some wet soil on the nose. Not a ton of excitement, a bit boozy. Could be slightly corked.

A high octane flavor bomb. Lush dark fruit, earth, dusty, scorched minerality, clove, coffee. Powerful, concentrated, lively, and long. Nice grip, tempered by age, probably a beast in its youth.
