Super indicative of a warm vintage. Primary fruits fading fast and an intense mocha, chocolate liquorice and fennel taking over. Alcohol starting to poke through as fruit drops away. Something needs to be said about a slightly out of balance acid additionally

God this stuff cellars well. Rich, bold concentrated fruit. Dark fruit, a hint of mint and pepper on the nose and subtle oak. Good texture with a chewy finish.

Plenty of sweet, dark, ripe juicy fruit. Incredibly soft velvety tannins but not too much complexity beyond.
