Med body with red berries and red cherry notes, med plus acidity, soft tannin, dusty, not too much oak note, barely has oak note but aged in American oak. A great everyday chianti for it bucks. Biodynamic farming, native yeast, 85 % Sangiovese.

Fruit Bomb nose, this is a modern-style Sangiovese, with significant oak on the nose. Muted acidity, but significant oak tannin.

Excellent value chianti. Light to medium body with bright red berry fruit and a touch of peppery spice. Juicy with a bit of earthiness.

This is a wonderful example of chianti. Great producer. Tart cherry, subtle purple flowers, wet fresh underbrush, some blackberry too. Great with any tomato sauce dish, I had it with tomato citrus salmon and capers and pasta and broccoli. Such a wonderful wine and great pairing. Worth seeking out. Great pizza wine as well. Very versatile underrated. Approx $25, but real value!

For $16 this wine out performed. Organic, biodynamic with great energy. Sweet and savory.

Young vibrant fruit. Tart cherry. Subtle earth and spice. Good acidity. Great balance I thought. Great wine with food.

An interesting blend of Sangiovese, Con Canaiolo, and E. Mammolo produces a nose of dark fruits and, oddly enough, pipe smoke in the background. The pallet is more traditional, consisting of deep plum flavors with a nice stained wood and pepper undertone to keep interest. The wine paired well with calzones and would go well with most of that genre. Definitely would have again.
