New Years Eve dinner at home. This wine surprised me a bit as it appeared light visually but taste was bold with great dark berry flavors and a bit of an earthy tones.

Jan 1st, 2020A really nice Carneros Pinot Noir. Excellent nose of raspberries, plums and freshly tilled soil. Lots of red and blue fruit on the palate with luscious acidity and faint tannins. One of the Pinot Noir pioneers in Napa. Very enjoyable.

The 2011 did everything the 2010 (which I had last month) did not. Fabulously soft, fruity, and lush.
