Neal and Judy Ibbotson have been viticulture pioneers in Marlborough with over 30 years of viticulture knowledge of the region. Pale lemon with aromas of citrus and tropical fruit with herb and floral notes. On the palate flavors of peach, guava, grapefruit and pear fruit with some floral tones, lively acidity adding mineral notes. Medium+ finish ending, citrus, with fruit, herbal, floral and salty mineral notes. Nice!

Tonight's wine that I have chosen is the 2018 Saint Clair Family Estate Origin Series Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand.

On the nose there is grapefruit, tangerine, lime, peach, herbaceous and minerality.

Onnthe palate there is lime, grapefruit, tangerine, grass, herbaceous and minerality.

This wine is medium bodied smooth creamy mouthfeel with medium + acidity and a long crisp clean citrus minerality driven finish. A beautiful wine that you can have by itself or with a wonderfully prepared sea bass. Let's have a great beginning to our weekend and please be safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂

Crisp, great balance between the minerals and peach flavors. Perfect wine to sip while watching the bird in the oven. This is exactly how a NZ Sauvignon Blanc should be made.

Whaaaa this is exquisite SavvyB from NZ. It is not too anything in any one direction if that makes sense BUT— if it goes anywhere it goes passion fruit and gooseberry. I’d take it on a first date (ordering salad) and a second date (also eating the restaurants bread) and...okay the date metaphor isn’t the best. But gonna say this is obvi NZ SB but not in a bad way❤️
