Dec 21st, 2019Initially thought this was an Oregon Pinot based on the nose and robe. Even the palate was serving Willamette realness. Alas, it was NZ giving me all that funky earth and mushrooms with decaying leaves and sour cherries.

Micah wasn't crazy about it, it had a tanny flavor he wasn't fond off. Meanwhile, I really liked it, found it to have the tongue coating bite of light carbonation. Long finish, stays with you. I would have given it a 3 smiley.
