Testa Vineyard Carignane
Could use a few years, but still very good.

Aug 2nd, 2018Lot going on here: muddled darkish ruby, opaque, wafting nose of black & red fruit, with quite a bit of those southern French hallmarks: dried herbs, black olive, gravel, herbaceous, etc. clearly old vine material, but med (-) weight & very juicy acidity, fruit turned tart and green flavors popped. There is a reason carignane is usually blended with other varietals. This presents more French than Spanish. Enjoyable overall - cerebral exercise

Nov 13th, 202290 yr old vines, dry farmed, fermented whole cluster. Solid of core of black cherry, but not overly ripe at all. Good tannin structure. Great representation of old vine carignane.
