Medium + in body, smooth and elegant.
Dry and smooth on the palate with cherries, black currants, Wood, vanilla, smoke, oak, spices and black pepper.
Long finish with round smooth tannins and peppercorn.
This is an awesome wine. Eight years old and showing a great capacity to age even longer.
If it had a little less vanilla this would be a perfect score, for me. If vanilla is your thing, this is it. Great Napa Valley Cabernet.

Medium mouthfeel exhibits a drill hole of black currant surrounded by topsoil and stone. 360 degrees of tannins with a crystal powder texture that melts away to a delicate smoky black pepper and dark cherry sustainance. #howellmountain #rutherford #pestonifamily

(***) med (-) body but still concentrated with juicy black plum, mint, pencil. Needs time to open, but ready to drink. Elegantly put together cab blend (75% cab sav, 25% merlot). Soooo much tastier than the 2007.
