Really surprised by this wine. Oak was present in the glass, ripe fruit, apple pie, baking spices, slightly cheesy. But it maintained fantastic acid on the palette with a lot of minerality. It was in no way fat or flabby. Really enjoyable.

A really high maintenance wine. Had to try a couple different glasses, experiment with temperature. Orange peel. A touch of marzipan in the finish. Too much fucking working to make this wine shine.
