Solid if not amazing 2012 Walla Walla Syrah. Has exactly the profiles you might expect of a W2 Syrah: nice chalky grip and silty mouthfeel, strong red fruit profiles, maybe a hint of cassis, and a long, slow fade with tobacco and pepper notes. Yum!

Dec 4th, 2016Rich coco and indulgent, slightly overripe raspberries meet sweet cherry tobacco half-way and boom! Hint of green pepper makes me think a bit of cooler elevation fruit when in to it.

Always produce great wine ... a reflection of the great folks at the winery. A very solid Syrah value with complexity and long finish expected at a higher price point. Much enjoyed 5-19-17.
