60% Colorino adds incredible concentration and black fruit. 40% Merlot contributes a silky finish. Delicious!

Brickish color. Rustic barnyard notes jump out of the glass, very expressive nose. Delicious flavors of dark fruits and nice tannins softened with bottle age. Colorino & Merlot.

Elegant wine , great acidity and balance . Colorino really blends well with merlot.

Showing beautiful, I did decanted it. Could lay for another 7 or 8 years without falling flat.

Discovered this gem at a wine tasting in Rome several years ago. Thought it was great 'til I ran into other better wines. Ran across a bottle last night in another part of the world, and thought it was even better than I had remembered. The tannin is a bit more than I usually like, but the bouquet, deep color, and overall taste was enough to win me over again. Would have been great with a rare, heavy Texas steak, but was perfect to share with my wife just by itself.

This is from last weekend, just trying to catch up... I was surprised it was actually pretty decent.

Drinking well. Very dark, interesting on the nose and palate. Worth a visit for sure.
