Surprisingly not so old world as it seems. Stewed berries, cherries, cocoa and chocolate on the noise. Medium body and no finish whatsoever. Good with food.

A little heavy on the tannins and acidity. Just ok. A little on the heavier side for a Chianti. Have had much better Chiantis at a cheaper price. Drinkable but definitely not worth the charged price — and I got mine on sale ($28). More like a $12-15 bottle.
