Aziano Chianti Classico Sangiovese

Terrific Italian for 15.

Fine for a Tuesday night but nothing special at all.

Dry finish as it should, fruity at the start.

Smells sweet sharp almonds vanilla, short after taste, acidic. An alright casual wine.

Nice light red

Good chianti. Deeply cherry scented. Light cherry note on the taste but more plummy on the finish and throughout.

One of my favorites.

Has a newly bottled taste. The flavors have not fully developed and needs to mature. Bitterness is lacking from this Chianti which is proof that it is not ready to drink. Maybe in a couple years it is worth trying again.

Very tannic, solid nose. Somewhat dry.
