Dark purple color, with a lot of earthy components. Floral notes with a wooden accents, vanilla, and dark ripened fruit. All with a bit of leather. Nicely balanced with just a medium tannin structure. A lot softer than the flavors and scents give off. I think it’s delicious, and the 2018 is drinking quite primely right now.

Strong dark fruit, with earth and wood. Approachable tannins. An interesting wine with some complexity, but a bit too earthy for me, which is a matter of personal taste.

Deep purple, medium body and tannin, medium acidity. Well balanced. Blueberry, violets, wet slate, vanilla. Well balanced, light than other Douro blends I had in Portugal 🇵🇹. Remind me of Pinot Noir. Good wine, but not quite what I’m searching for.

Good! Total wines Portugal wine. Would get again. Deep fruit but not too dark. Balanced.

Aroma has a touch of diacetyl but it's light enough to be pleasant. Loads of currant and with a heavy cocoa, tobacco, and slate finishing note. Drinks surprisingly light for as dark and heavy as it smells. Very fruity with a lot of acid but a tannic finish that quenches the acid. Very nice wine.

2020 Vintage red reserve wine. Tried for our trip to Portugal. Notes of blackberry and plum and has a long finish like a cab. Since we’re not really red wine drinkers, it takes some getting used to. Served with pasta and meat sauce.
