Very dark red with black edges. Aromas of very ripe berry flavors. On the palate the port is powerful with very sweet and jammy berry fruit, too sweet. The tannins give the wine some structure, however a tad out of balance with the rich sweetness dominating the wine. Pass, other LBV at similar price points much better. Tasting Sample.

This prefect! It doesn't taste too sweet in the actual drinking, but leaves a slightly sweet, rich flavor in the mouth. Packs a punch withe alchol content. Bought at Total Wines.

Blackberry/black cherry upfront, then a burst of tannins and a raisin finish. Great on its own, with cheese, or in wassail

Strange nose, soapy (yes, clean glass). Little sweet, plum and currant jammy but good finisher. No heat.

Medium body. Fruity, strong but drank very easy. 2013Vintage

Blueberry and blackberry up front. Blackberry, slight spice, and balanced fruity sweetness in the mid. Long finish of fig and ripe berries.

Delicious Sweetness smooth with subtle tannin finish... love it
