What a discovery, at $20 a bottle this is a massive deal on quality. Berries, Plum, Spices but above all, a perfect balance between sweetness (not overpowering ) and alcohol , an excellent price-quality ratio

This shows even more promise of the 2011 vintage and is very youthful.
Opened for 4 hrs, just opened, not decanted.
Raisins, figs, and a slight jammy fruitiness aromas. Plums, blackberries, chocolate, toffee, and a hint of butterscotch.
Hard to beat for $20

Very dark purple, almost black, indigo border. Medium+ viscosity, lots of staining. Extremely aromatic. Lots of oak, bright red fruit, tobacco: smells a lot like a Chianti Classico if it was made 10X more powerful. Palette sees raisins, caramelized sugar, dates. Very light mouthfeel, medium finish. Alcohol is present, but not overpowering, and I love how fruity and complex this is. Great value for $20!

God, for a Sweet Mother forward LBV Port, this is super-tasty. I hope United carries it or something better next month.

Gosh, this gets ever better every time I have it. Figs and raisins. Pepper and Sweet Mother. Yes.

Tasty, chewy dark fruit. Peppery with a pleasantly drying Sweet Mother alcohol bite. It's a love-nip, that's what it is. Not quite as much plum and raisin as 2009, but still rather delightful. Of course, there's the whole, "God I love port" factor to consider.
