2 people found it helpfulMay 16th, 2015This was probably WOTN. This epitomized drinking a wine at peak. It was perfectly ready. Very red fruit dominant on the nose with some scorched baked black cherry and cardamom, but the palate was a mix of red and black fruit. Some cinnamon. Little tannic bite. Cola and cedar too. This tasted like it was made for tonight...incredible, @Roy Piper !

Apr 10th, 2015A little disappointing tonight. Slightly sour and not much in the mid-palate.

Nov 15th, 2019Happy Father’s Day to me!
I have been waiting awhile to open this and it did not disappoint. 3 hour decant. Tannins are already nicely integrating and the fruit is on all show. But this really wins on the finish. I lost count of how long. A job well done @Roy Piper
