Chioso Dei Pomi Ghemme Nebbiolo

Solid Alto Piemonte offering, with typical cool-climate and rustic notes compared to cousins farther south. This one has that riper late-pick or slightly air-dried prune/raisin note that sticks out for me. Otherwise a lovely wine that can be enjoyed with a wide variety of rich foods. SommSelect.

Light body, too tannic for the mouthfeel, but only just. Good stuff.

Fragrant, delicate, and pairs beautifully with seemingly every one of @chefmarkladner's dishes. @delposto

Paired perfectly with white truffle and 2yr aged Parmesan.
