Dark ruby in color with a purplish rim.
Great fruity nose with black currants, blackberries, vanilla, sweet cedar, leather, chocolates, tobacco, licorice, peppercorn, spices, cloves and leather.
Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, herbs, spices, dark chocolates, coffee, coke, peppercorn and earth.
Medium on the finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a nice surprise. A good red blend from Sonoma County. Well balanced and enjoyable by itself or with food. Showing mild complexity and a nice mouthfeel.
This 4 year old is still drinking nicely, but will not last for long (Started declining after 90 minutes). Good right out of the bottle and good for parties too.
I paired it with cheeses and light appetizers.
A blend of 30% Malbec, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Syrah, 13% Zinfandel, 13% Petite Sirah and 7% Petit Verdot. Aged for 17 months in oak barrels.

Changed the fruit line up this vintage. No longer Zin and Syrah based. More cab, malbec, and lower percentages of many other red grapes. Stronger Bordeaux style. Dryer, pummeling tannins. Terrific and needs a good decanting.

A kitchen sink blend, Malbec represents the largest share at 30% for the 2014 vintage, which noticeably is without Merlot. Peppery and a bit herbaceous and floral. A bit lean but seamless. Aged in American, Hungarian, and French oak barrels for 17 month, 30% new, this is a superb deal at $20.00.

Great nose. Oak, leather. Flavor is not up to par with the aroma. Would prefer a bottle of phantom to this.

This was a smooth easy drinking wine. It had a nice mixture or cherry and oak that lingers nicely.

What a great surprise. Great wine at a fraction of the price of many other wines but this didn't lack anything. Truly enjoyable
