Blackberries, cedar, eucalyptus and cocoa on the nose. The palate has heavy plum, juicy red cherries, cigar box and plenty of spice. Tannins are medium, finish is short, but tasty. Nice Zin, albeit fairly one dimensional.

Somewhat disappointed ... Love the Rockpile AVA, but this should have performed as more than a pizza wine. Fruit notes dominant initially, lending its way into heavy handed berry flavored oak schnapps on the finish.
