Inexpensive wine but done in the carbonic maceration style (partial) nice color what you would expect from the style

Color of bubbly purple, clear. Nose of cocoa, cranberry, medicinal syrup, spice, alcohol, and ripe grapes. Taste basically follows the nose, quite sweet with addition of zest, some more violet note, just a bit too light. Aftertaste of some more grapes. Very fruits oriented and a bit overpowering alcohol.

Loved this Shiraz! It's full bodied with lots of fruity notes: plum & cherry.

Not the wine that lured me into wine geekery years ago. But taking into consideration the price ($6), it is easily one of the best ultra cheap wines out there. Blackberry jam notes, a little salinity, some cherry cough drop, and very soft tannins. Went well with the pizza.
