Well yes, @Mike Lucia, you should be proud! Only thing better than sharing a first vintage with the winemaker is when it's crazy delicious. I know what I'm gonna be drinking all summer...

Badass rosé. Cheetah Lucia is on to something here! Proud of this debut, looking forward to what's coming from RootDown

Introducing 2014 Rootdown rosè of Trousseau from talented Mike Lucia. Proud to be the first to review this delicious wine from a truly unique grape. Goes down way too easy!

Our #1 poolside sipper this summer. Gloriously salmon colored with quenchable flavors of raspberry and watermelon rind, we couldn't be more smitten with this first vintage (and the only California Trousseau rosé we know of) from @Copain Wines Assistant Winemaker @Mike Lucia.

A delicious, refreshing and harmonious rosé of Trousseau Noir from @Mike Lucia. Pale salmon color with wet stone, citrus, bit of spice and earth aromas. On the palate it's dry and very fresh with tangy acidity and passion fruit, peach, spice, mineral flavors. A hint of tannins add to this well structured wine.

I'm loving this Rosé of Trousseau from @Mike Lucia Salmon color with appealing earthy, red fruit, stone fruit pit and wet gravel aromas. On the palate it's medium bodied, fresh, focused round and persistent with tart strawberry, watermelon, golden raspberry and lemon peel flavors with a lingering finish
