If you walk into the store and don't walk out with this bottle, your not ready to try an Amazing Wine. Try this amazing old grape.
It's in my top 10!

A bit spicy and rich on the nose. Wonderful dark cherries and plums throughout. Finishes with Earth and spice. Easily one of my favorite $10-15 bottles.

Sturdy amounts of green bell pepper and herbaceous earth. Honest minerals jostle past the black fruit, and tenacious amounts of iron share time with sandalwood and fresh flowers. I respect this wine's ability to keep new world fruit tart and balanced with minerality. Another solid QPR. Thanks @Riccardo L. for the helpful on-point review. Nailed it.

Barnyard in the nose, deep hot blackberry jam, tobacco rolled in chocolate papers. And, of course, that wonderful flavour profile of the garden, that really only comes from the Southern Hemisphere.
