The Meursault of Friuli. Macadamia, cocoa butter, the barest hint of chervil. Subtly but persistently saline. Lacks a touch of acidity, or I’d have been even more wowed. For me, this is the best findable and affordable Italian white in most vintages.

Great acidity, tart fruit and tons of minerality

May 13th, 2021I keep trying but I’m not sure outside of Gravner / Mathiasson I’ve had too many ribollas that I really enjoy. This is good - crispy with great acidity and salinity. But leaves something to be desired.
