Cuvée Prestige Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend

Dark ruby red with small orange rim, there is a salted fish roe on the nose when just opened but it went away very quickly. I fount it very pleasant and fascinating. Plum, ripe blackberry, red cherry, herb de Provence, dried thyme, menthol and mineral. Licorice, all spice, nutmeg, cinnamon and cardamom for the subtitle oak note. Rose and violet on the nose. So beautiful on the nose. Med plus tannin, med plus acidity and high alcohol. Give it couple years to reach its pick time. Very pleasant wine. Needs a few minutes in the glass to warm up, initially was quite watery and closed. After about 5-10 minutes the tannins softened, revealing chocolate, dark red fruit, and spicy notes.

Enjoyed very much again, great nose and fruit, balanced and finishes well.

Very nice Grenache fruit. On the lighter side and very good friendly. Crowd pleaser.

Very nice. Smokey flavors and full of typical Chateauneuf Du Pape aromas
