Dark bramble fruit on the nose. The palate was smoky then a smash mouth full of dark berries finishing with a hint of anise on the finish. Very nice indeed!

Really not ready yet, but after a few hours in a decanter it was much more approachable. Dark fruit, bramble. Delicious, but not as complex as I wanted it to be.
