Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc

This is a delicious Sauvignon Blanc From Sancerre. Showing citrus, green apples, minerals and spices.

Medium bodied with racing acidity. Crisp and refreshing.

Dry on the palate with a nice finish.

Good by itself or with food. I paired it with lobster on the grill.

Great nose and palate. Very tasty.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

Solid Sancerre. Readily identifiable as a Loire SB. That says enough for me to like it.

Minerality and button mushrooms compete with well delineated and just barely ripe tropical fruit. No boxwood or jalapeño here. Much better with food than without.

Either completely closed or oxidized. I think the latter, but will check tomorrow.

Aromas of honeydew, honeysuckle.
Dry. Flavors of honeysuckle, pear, soft minerality.

Pleasant with grilled black bass and latkes though not the most interesting or complex wine.
