Don’t ask me what’s in the background. I’ll never tell. The first sip on this wine was weird, but it could be because I’m drinking it out of an espresso cup. But again, I’ll never tell you why. So uhhhhh, it’s really good. It’s really California. And it might be psychological, but I can actually taste the Riesling on the finish. I think.

Rather nice! Unripe cherries on the nose with some earth tones. Light red fruit on the front, with a nicely balanced tannic structure all the way down. This is not a wine to savor, but rather to contently guzzle. All its charms are immediately available. There are no off notes, but neither is it particularly challenging. On the other hand, there's a lot of quality here for only $20!
