v14. Very good! Soft dusty cedar nose. Rich, juicy black currant fruit. Bright, softly astringent leather finish. Nicely balanced.

Fruit-forward and intense Cabernet Sauvignon, so overwhelming that it really does not go with any food. Perhaps this will be better in 5 years, since this wine will age forever given how strong it is. But this style of Cabernet is too fruity and bold for me, and just lacks elegance.

Good. Not bold but not thin.

Expected more based on the reviews. Nothing special. Flavors not fully-developed. Not as big as I like. Paid $40 at wine.com

Not bad for Rodney Strong!!!! 2014 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. 14.5%. Be careful with this one. Its easy to drink and quick to make you very relaxed an inhibition free. Big bold dark fruit on the beginning lots of spice and oak in the middle with a long dry tart finish. Yummy. It almost crunches in your mouth. This is the definition of a big chewy wine.
