Rod Easthope
Hawke's Bay Sauvignon Blanc
This is a classic crisp Kiwi SB, loaded with pomelo and lime flavors over a clean grassy body. It is extremely versatile as a food wine (leftover night!)

Mar 31st, 2014It's great to see NZ producers on nakedwines.com.au alongside the Aussies. Rod Easthope is rather a big deal too. Before becoming a 'naked' winemaker he was Chief Winemaker at Craggy Range in Hawkes Bay - a truly iconic and world renowned winery.
The 2014 Sauv Blanc is a lemon colour on the eye. On the schnoz whiffs of sweet capsicum, citrus and herbs like lemon grass emerge from the glass. The palate is not too in your face, yet it's full of flavour. Thirst quenching and delicious with an air of elegance. $14-19 from Naked Wines.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #TCWeekdayWine

Very drinkable. Ordered more to try a vertical tasting between the 2017 and 2018.
