Dark ruby color with a few purple highlights. Aromas of ripe black fruit, purple flowers and smoky/flinty oak. Flavors of black cherry/raspberry/plum fruit, coffee, vanilla and baking spices. Nice black pepper note on the long and lingering finish. Full bodied and lush. Medium acidity and pretty complex. Just a bit past its prime. Thanks for sharing, Ron B!
